Debt Help and Advice in January 2008

The Money Advice Group has received a record number of calls from people looking to make a fresh financial start. Lee Parkin Head of Group Sales said “The number of people looking for debt advice to resolve financial difficulties has gone up by 127% compared to the number of calls in January 2007” he went on to say “We have a large team of experienced debt advisors who work on a “Best Advice Model” that ensures that every client is treated with the professionalism that has become expected from one of the largest Debt Management Companies in the UK.  

He forecasts busy times ahead with the Credit Card statements ready to drop on door mats in the next couple of days and believes that people are more pro-active in looking at options to resolve debt problems rather than burying their head in the sand.  

January is traditionally a busy time as people recover from the financial pressure of Christmas and look to continue the New Year’s Resolution of solving debt issues.
